QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS 2-STEP INVITATION FOR BID:
Any questions regarding this 2-Step Invitation for Bid (IFB) shall be addressed to the Contract Officer at
LauraLee.Oliva@vdot.virginia.gov. The subject line header should state the following: Questions on 2-Step IFB #158982. The
issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised.
Provide questions no later than five working days before the due date. VDOT cannot guarantee a response to questions received
after five working days before the due date. No questions will be addressed orally. Project Scope
The Virginia Department of Transportation intends to enter into a Contract with a qualified firm to provide supplemental
staffing and support for the various support requirements that include, but not limited to, daily operations and maintenance
services of various Hampton Roads moveable bridges (James River, High Rise, Berkley, Chincoteague, and Coleman Bridges If you plan to participate in the mandatory pre-bid conference you must provide the following information via email
to LauraLee.Oliva@vdot.virginia.gov no later than 5:00 PM EST on the business day prior to the scheduled
conference.
At the start of the conference the Contract Officer will conduct an attendance roll call to identify the individuals
participating. Participants will be requested to provide their individual name, company name, and contact information
during the roll call. Participants who did not provide their information in advance will be requested to provide their
name, company name, and contact information during the roll call. Bids will only be accepted from those Bidders who
are represented and make their participation known to the Contract Officer during the conference roll call and who
requested admittance no later than 10:05 AM EDT.
