Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Gibsons, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Structural & mechanical improvements to the berth structures, and shoreline stabilization. The scope of work for the Project includes select demolition, structural improvements, installation of auto-tensioning winches and a hydraulic power unit (HPU), and shoreline stabilization. Details are more particularly set out in Schedule "A" - Scope of Work (the "Scope of Work"). The general requirements of the Scope of Work includes: Replacement of: Ramp & apron hinges Turning dolphin fender timbers Port wingwall fender timbers and miscellaneous hardware Mooring pickup arm Transfer plates & apron fingers Ramp & apron hydraulic cylinder mounts and pins Installation of: BC Ferries-provided Hydraulic power unit (HPU), and support brackets Two new auto-tensioning winches and support brackets Counterweight to underside of ramp (re-positioning of existing apron counterweights) Steel spacers and chains on line dolphins Tower guardrails Pile foundation block on maintenance walkway Refurbishment of: Apron underside & topside via coatings Ramp cross beams & girders via coatings Tower base plates via grout repairs Shoreline revetment slope
