Reference Number 0000361733 The work is at the direction of the DWSD on an as-needed basis and will be throughout the city of Detroit. The bidder hereby agrees to perform all work assigned by the Engineer no matter where located, at the Unit Prices established in the Bid Schedule. Water main repair materials including but not limited to pipes, valves, boxes, repair sleeves, couplings and appurtenances shall be furnished by DWSD. All labor, materials, and equipment for the Work with the exception of the water main repair materials as listed herein shall be furnished by the Contractor. The Bidder agrees that the unit prices shall remain unchanged for the duration of the Contract and will not be increased for escalation and regardless of the quantities used, whether the quantity of a particular item increases or decreases or if the item is not used at all. The Bidder is expected to provide sufficient staff and crews to complete all as-needed tasks on a timely basis as assigned by DWSD at the unit prices established in the bidding documents. The Bidder is expected to be on-call 7 days a week and prepared to mobilize immediately as needed for emergency tasks as assigned by DWSD.
