Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Ada, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This work shall be done in accordance with the requirements of Section 602 of the 2020 Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction and as specified herein. The work of "Joint, Plane-of-Weakness, W, Modified" shall consist of resawing an existing plane of weakness joint, cleaning the joint and placing backer rod and neoprene sealant in the joint. The work shall take place prior to the proposed epoxy overlay. This scope is applicable to Plainfield No. 25 Bridge only. Bridge rehabilitation including epoxy overlay, apply water repellant treatment and replace expansion joint on West River Drive over the Rogue River and Packer Drive over the White Pine Trail, Kent County. This is a Local Agency project. Net classification required for this project is 300 N9-1A Control Sec Job No Federal No HIPU 41000 218498A 24A0718 In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes a subclassification of Fa. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in this subclassification it must use a prequalified subcontractor. This subcontractor must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder.
