Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Livingston, New Jersey. Working plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et seq. and NJAC 17:27-1 et seq. The new DPW Facility is a critical project for the Township. This new facility will house all functions necessary to support the staff of 50 and the many services the DPW offers including but not limited to snow removal, leaf collection and grass cutting. At this site they will service, maintain and house all of their vehicles and equipment. The site will include a salt shed, material storage, both diesel and gas pumps, a service area with 7 bays as well as offices that will provide private offices and workstations, a breakroom for 50 people that will double as a training room, a secondary conference room/training room for 24 people, men's and women's locker rooms, and ancillary support spaces. The Design-Builder shall provide all necessary professional architectural/engineering related design services and construction services for, and in connection with, the proposed facilities. Those services include but are not limited to all the required interactions with project stakeholders necessary to develop the preliminary plans for approval, preparation of design plans and specifications all necessary review and approvals by stakeholders, securing all permits and federal/local/state agency approvals and construction of the approved facility within schedule and budget. Design-Build Teams must submit questions regarding the RFQ directly to Karen Sullivan at ksullivan@livingstonnj.org with copies to Matthew D. Jessup, Esq. at mjessup@msbnj.com and Jessica F. Silva, Esq. at jsilva@msbnj.com. All questions must be submitted by no later than 4:00 P.M. Eastern Time on September 6, 2024. The Township will not respond to any oral questions raised. All questions, and the Township's answers, will be provided electronically by Addenda by the Township by September 11, 2024 to each Design-Build Team that requested a copy of the RFQ.
