Replacement of approximately 1750 LF of 8-inch WW Main and 46 LF of 6-inch services on several streets including East 38th St (Grooms to Tom Green), Grooms St. (E 35th to e 38th), Griffith St (E 37 to E 38th) and two alleys. This infrastructure has been identified through CCTV inspection and selected for replacement based upon the following factors: physical condition of main, number of sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs), estimated volume of wastewater discharged during the SSOs, and amount of inflow and infiltration. Inflow and infiltration are the estimated amount of groundwater or rainwater leaking into a wastewater main.
