Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Cypress, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to mobilization furnishing all labor, processes, equipment, transportation, temporary fencing and services necessary for repairs and resealing of existing pour-in-place (PIP) rubber playground surface. All work shall be completed within THIRTY (30) working days following written Notice to Proceed from the City. Pursuant to the Labor Code of the State of California, the Director of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of wages and employer payments for health and welfare, vacation, pension and similar purposes applicable to the work to be done. This rate and scale are on file with the City Engineer, and copies will be made available to any interested party on request. The contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and the subcontractors under him, must pay not less than these rates for this area to all workers employed in the execution of the contract. Contractor shall submit Certificates of Insurance, Faithful Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond (for contract amount on the forms provided), and shall obtain a no-fee Public Works Permit and a City business license, prior to beginning construction. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding and to make awards in the interest of the City. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the opening of bids
