Number: N/A Description: This Statewide open-ended, on-call, Contract consists of supplying labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform Maintenance of Traffic (MOT). This includes providing Protection Vehicles (PV) with operators for shoulder and/or lane closure MOT setups for various roadway operations in District 1 (Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties), District 2 (Caroline, Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne's, and Talbot Counties), District 3 (Montgomery and Prince George's Counties), and District 5 (Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's Counties). The Contractor shall be capable of supplying a minimum of one (1) Protection Vehicle and/or flagging operations upon request of the Engineer in addition to any scheduled MOT assignments to support the Signal Operations Section or the Statewide Sign Team. The Contractor shall provide these services on two-lane, two-way roadways; divided, uncontrolled, multi-lane undivided roadways, expressway / freeways, interstates, signalized intersections and other areas as directed by the Signal Operations Section Supervisor. Day and/or night stationary operations as well as slow moving mobile operations may be required. Pre-Bid Conference: Pre Bid Conference: 11:00 A.M. 09/17/2024, via Virtual meeting via Microsoft Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
