Reference number: 20016694 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2024-09-19 Expected contract duration without options (in months) 36 Expected contract duration with options (in months) 48 Purpose of the contract The Municipality plans to carry out clearing, snow removal, and spreading of abrasives and salt on roads, rows and pavements within the Municipality's territory, for a period of three (3) years, i.e., the 2024/25, 2025/26, and 2026/27 seasons. An option for an additional year (2027-2028) may be granted at a later date by the Municipality, within the rules of award. An option for an additional year (2027-2028) may be granted at a later date by the Municipality, in accordance with the awarding rules. Only bids submitted by contractors with a place of business in Quebec and who hold an appropriate licence under the Act respecting the qualification of building contractors will be considered. The Municipality does not undertake to accept the lowest bid or any of the bids received, nor to incur any costs or any obligation whatsoever towards the bidder or bidders. The Municipality declines all liability towards any of the bidders in the event that all bids are rejected. The contract is awarded by decision of the Municipal Council, at its sole discretion, and the Municipality may not be bound in any way other than by a resolution of its Council. It is agreed that any information given or communicated by an officer or employee of the Municipality may not be used to interpret the call for tenders and specifications documents or to supplement them. Requirements A tender guarantee of 10% of the price submitted must accompany the tender.
