Reference Number 0000361274 Job Location: Boulder, CO The University of Colorado Boulder has purchased an electron beam writer (i.e. e-beam writer) which will require modification of an existing 300 SF cleanroom within the SEEL Building to house the new clean room cabin, e-beam writer, and associated equipment. Associated scopes include but are not limited to: Demo, Finishes, Fire Sprinkler, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. This project will be solicited under a 2-Step RFP/DBB. This solicitation is for Step 1 to pre-qualify a pool of Contractors who have the the appropriate experience and team for this project. These Contractors will be invited to conventionally bid the project in Step 2 with the intent of awarding to the lowest responsible bidder. Pre-qualification and inclusion on the select bidders list will be necessary for bidding this project. This pre-qualification process is unique to this project and not withstanding other pre-qualification by the State Buildings Division and the University of Colorado, all contractors wishing to bid this project must be pre-qualified as defined in this document.
