Site work for a water / sewer project in Prince George, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Soliciting sealed bids from qualified bidders to establish contract (s) to provide Construction Service for River Road Transmission Main. All inquiries for information should be directed via email to the Procurement Officer listed above, referencing the solicitation by name and number. No questions will be accepted after 12:00 PM on October 21, 2024. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond or guarantee of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be a certified check, cash escrow or a bid bond payable to the Treasurer of the County of Prince George. The successful bidder shall deliver to the purchasing office executed County of Prince George Standard Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the sum of the contract amount, with the County of Prince George as oblige. The surety shall be a surety company, or companies approved by the State Corporation Commission to transact business in the Commonwealth of Virginia. No payment shall be due and payable to the contractor, even if the contract has been performed in whole or in part, until the bonds have been delivered to and approved by the purchasing office. Standard bond forms will be provided by the purchasing office prior to or at the time of award.
