Renovation of a municipal facility in Miami, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Question Deadline 09/24/2024 Questions regarding documents, discrepancies, omissions, or intent of the specifications shall be submitted in writing to the City of Miami through Project Manager at least seven (7) days prior to the submission deadline to provide time for issuing and forwarding an addendums. Contractors with questions concerning this invitation may contact project manager Rodney Henry at (918)-961-0958. The following bonds will be required from the Awarded Contractor: : Performance Bond in an amount equal to the Full Amount of the Contract Price Maintenance Bond to the City of Miami in an amount equal to the contract price to protect against defective workmanship and materials for a period of (1) one year after acceptance of the project, and payment of all labor and materials including the prime Contractor and all subcontractors. letter of credit from a bank for the total amount of the quoted project may be used in lieu of bonds. All bids submitted must include the following: 1. Bid form 2. Bidder Response Sheet 3. Qualification Statement 4. Non-collusion Affidavit Other Surety Bonds and Insurance, including Maintenance Bond, Performance Bond, Liability Insurance and Workmen's Comp Insurance will be required if you are awarded one or more business projects. AGREEMENT, BONDS, INSURANCE The attention of Contractors is specifically directed to the forms of agreement and bonds to be executed and the type of insurance to be taken out in the event a contract award is made. The Contractor, to whom the work is awarded, will be required to furnish the following Surety Bonds and Liability Insurance. An irrevocable letter of credit may be substituted for each bond if approved by the City of Miami Attorney. Performance Bond. A performance bond to the City of Miami in an amount equal to 100% of contract price. Maintenance Bond. A maintenance bond to the City of Miami in an amount equal to the contract price to protect against defective workmanship and materials for a period of (1) one year after acceptance of the project, and payment of all labor and materials including the prime Contractor and all subcontractors. Liability Insurance with necessary endorsements and certificate naming the City of Miami as an Additional Insured. Workers' Compensation Insurance. In the absence of Workers' Compensation insurance, a signed affidavit of exempt status must be provided. AWARD OF CONTRACT The award of any contract will be made to the participant offering the lowest responsive responsible bid (proposal) on the basis of the lowest total bid amount, work quality, material quality, completion time estimate and having provided the necessary bonds, insurance, and other documents required per the Request for Bids and Instruction to Bidders. The award may be made to more than one bidder by awarding the Contract(s) by item or groups of items, on an ALL OR NONE basis, whichever is deemed by the purchasing director to be in the best interest of the City of Miami.. It is anticipated that approval will be received within 30 days of the submission deadline. In the event that the approvals are not received, or the City of Miami cannot award or reject said proposals within 60 days from the date of opening of bids, participants shall have the right to withdraw their bids on written notice to the Owner.
