The City of North Canton is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in providing management and administrative services related to the operation of the City's Civic Center Event Hall. firms with relevant management experience and qualifications are encouraged to submit. The firm ultimately selected by the City will provide full management and administrative services for the operation of the Civic Center Facility for a minimum period of three (3) years. The City intends to award a contract for the Operation, Maintenance, and Marketing of the Facility. The Facility includes a 4,000-square-foot ballroom with a prep kitchen and two additional smaller event spaces located on 7 acres of land. The successful firm will demonstrate their ability to maximize the financial performance of the facility, provide great value to taxpayers/City, continue affordable and inclusive access for citizens, and enhance the facility as a valuable community asset. Firms should detail their ability to maintain standards, provide customer service excellence, effectively manage marketing, staff, and facility maintenance, and to collaborate with the City on strategies for long-term success. The contract will be overseen by the Director of Administration or their designee. Firms responding to this RFP must propose a contract term for their managementservices, with a minimum duration of three (3) years, including any specific extension provisions requested starting January 1, 2025. Firms should submit proposals reflecting an Operating Lease Approach. The City will select the proposal that it deems to be in its best interest at its sole discretion.
