System maintenance includes the use of contractors for cave-in repairs; cleaning, CCTV and lining of drainpipes; and outfall and ditch maintenance regulated by the Army Corps. Funds are used for installation, repair, and replacement for infrastructure identified in our lake management efforts, and VSMP program support relating to infrastructure and facilities. Flooding and resiliency initiatives include tide gate installation, analysis and assessment of drainage basins to determine system adequacy and to identify choke points, and stormwater modeling.
