Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Mecklenburg County Asset and Facility Management will receive sealed single prime unit cost bids for McDowell Creek Greenway Phase 2 . Bid, performance, and payment & material bonds are required. NC law and applicable regulations of various licensing boards and NCDOT DBE provisions will be observed. All Bidders are required to be prequalified with NCDOT for their specific discipline. The scope of work includes approximately 1.2 miles of new greenway construction from the northern end of McDowell Creek Greenway Phase 1B (Chilgrove Lane to Gilead Road) to Babe Stilwell Farm Road in Huntersville. The project includes two (2) prefabricated pedestrian bridges, a trailhead parking lot and 1500 LF of timber boardwalk. Mecklenburg County reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
