Site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Dripping Springs, Texas. Completed plans call civil work for a bridge / tunnel.
Proposals must be submitted on City of Dripping Springs forms and must be accompanied by an acceptable proposal security in the form of a cashier's check or bond, payable to the City of Dripping Springs, Texas, equal to five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount The successful Respondent must furnish a performance bond and payment bond on the forms provided, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety. Mercer Street Restrooms (#CIP-2024-001) generally includes: 0.040 acres of site clearing and asphalt driveway removal, 48 square yards of 5" concrete sidewalks, the installation of two restroom buildings including building slabs, water, wastewater, and electrical service connections. Contract Times and Liquidated Damages - Respondents must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" of the City, and to fully complete the project within the specified time stated in the proposal. Substantial Completion of the Work within ninety (90) calendar days thereafter The City reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals and any nonconforming Proposal and to award the Contract in a period of time not exceeding 60 days from the Proposal due date. Proposals shall remain firm for that period.
