The City of Plano is accepting sealed bids to establish a Fixed Price Agreement with vendors to establish a qualified contractor listing for roofing repairs for one-hundred fourteen (114) facilities located throughout the City. The number of facilities and square footage will increase as new buildings under construction are completed. This agreement will contain a fixed pricing structure for the term of the agreement. The initial term of this Contract shall be a period of twelve (12) months commencing upon the effective date hereof. This Contract shall automatically renew for up to four (4) twelve (12) month periods unless sooner terminated pursuant to City of Plano Terms and Conditions. The City also has the right and option to terminate the agreement upon thirty (30) days written notice. Question Deadline 09/19/2024 at 5:00 PM CT Questions must be submitted electronically. The Facilities Maintenance Department will contact a roofing contractor on an as needed basis to assist the maintenance staff in the repair and maintenance of building roofing systems, and to assist in warranty repairs and claims with different roofing manufacturers. The roofing contractors performing the work must be approved by the roofing materials manufacturer to perform install and/or repairs that may or may not be covered under warranty in order to maintain existing manufacturers' guaranteed roofing systems warranties.
