Replace Emergency Lights. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Work of the Contract consists of the following work for seven (7) existing two story residential buildings: Remove existing emergency lighting units and illuminated exit signs. Furnish and install new 120 volt LED based devices with 90 minute battery back up. Furnish and install additional LED based exist signs and emergency lighting unit to improve lighting levels in accordance with drawings. Furnish and install new 120 volt power as required to accommodate new fixture layout. Emergency lighting and exit signage circuits shall be wired back to the existing building electrical panel via a dedicated new 20 amp circuit. Cutting, patching, and painting to match original conditions. Question Deadline 09/18/2024 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Architect. The Architect will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids A. The Work of the Contract consists of: 1. Removal of existing Federal Pacific 1,200 ampere-208/120 volt-3 phasemain disconnect switch. 2. Removal of existing Federal Pacific 1,200 ampere-208/120 volt-3 phasemain distribution panel and all circuit breakers within. 3. Furnish and install a new 1,200 ampere - 208/120 volt- 3-phase main distribution panel with new circuit breakers and 1,200 ampere-208/120 volt-3 phase main disconnect as scheduled on plans. 4. New copper conductors, conduit, splices, and wiring devices as required fora complete project. 5. Asbestos abatement 6. Generator rental and connection for temporary power. 7. All required cutting and patching. B. Execution of Work: Work to be performed in a timely and workmanlike fashion. Site shall be cleaned up daily with access needed for overnight.
