DPW Maintenance Barn Roof Repairs A Bid Guarantee of five percent (5%) of the amount of the total Bid, including Alternates, must accompany the Proposal and, at the option of the Bidder, may be a cashier's check, certified check or a satisfactory Bid Bond. The Bid Guarantee must be attached to the Louisiana Uniform Public Work Bid Form. No Bid will be considered unless it is so guaranteed. Cashier's check or certified check must be made payable to the order of the Owner. Cash deposits will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids for just cause in accordance with the Public Bid Law, LSA-R.S. 38:2214(B). Incomplete, informal, illegible, or unbalanced Bids may be rejected. Reasonable grounds for belief that any one Bidder is concerned directly or indirectly with more than one Bid will cause rejection of all Bids wherein such Bidder is concerned. If required, a Bidder shall furnish satisfactory evidence of its competence and ability to perform the Work stipulated in its Proposal. Incompetence will constitute cause for rejection. If the Parish determines that the bidder is not responsive or responsible for any reason whatsoever, the bid may be rejected in accordance with State law. Questions or concerns must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Department no later than 2:00 CST seven (7) working days prior to the bid opening date Work to Include: The Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and tools necessary for removal and disposal of existing roofing system on Trace Maintenance Barn Roof, Airport Barn Shed Roof, Hwy 59 Barn Roof, Fritchie Barn Roof and Keller Barn Roof. The Contractor must install new metal roofing system, trim, gutters and downspouts, remove and replace damaged sky lights/sunroof panels and remove and replace any damaged insulation. II.
