A Curtis Strange signature course, Bide-a-Wee was totally renovated and reopened in 1999. It features bent grass greens, narrow and challenging fairways lined with majestic pines, and a number of picturesque lakes and ponds throughout the course. The original Bide-A-Wee layout featured extremely narrow and small greens that fell off severely on the sides. Bide-a-Wee is open year round and is available for regular play, tournaments, clinics, private lessons, driving range practice, and also has an indoor pavilion available for event rentals. Renovations and updates to various areas of the course are needed periodically to maintain the course in a high-quality manner. This ongoing CIP project will address painting of all the existing buildings, bunker renovations, greens renovations, pump station replacement, irrigation replacement and repairs, interior renovations for the clubhouse and pavilion, and additional maintenance equipment.
