Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mellette, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and bridge / tunnel.

Approximately: 300 CuYd of Unclassified Excavation, 1,300 SqYd of Mill, Salvage and Stockpile Asphalt and Base (10" depth), 1,300 SqYd of Geotextile Separator Fabric and Geogrid, 1,300 SqYd of Millings Placement, 350 Tons of Granular Base Course, 1,550 Tons Ton of Asphalt Concrete Surfacing (PG 64-22), 1.0 Ton of Bituminous Tack Coat, 140 Feet of Concrete Curb and Gutter, 75 feet of Culvert Replacement, and other miscellaneous items of related construction. The approximate quantities mentioned above are subject to increase or decrease. It will be agreed by bidders that all quantities of work will be performed in accordance with the provisions of the plans and specifications and at the unit price bid. Bidders agree to furnish all labor, material, and equipment necessary to complete all the work as shown in the plans and specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the City of Mellette; or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. A bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid will be accepted in lieu of a certified check or bank draft. Surety for bid bond must be authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota. Bids may be held by the City of Mellette; for a period of not more than thirty (30) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, investigating the qualifications of the bidders and completing financial arrangements prior to awarding the Work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
