The Project includes the following Work: Work under Contract 2024-02 covers the furnishing of all labor, material, plant, utilities, and services. required for the removal and installation of new filter bed materials at the Water Treatment Plant. The project is located in Sewickley Borough, Allegheny County. Project will remove existing filter bed materials and gravel and install new Purolite filter bed materials and gravel. Bids are requested for the following Contract: SWA-Contract No. 2024-02 Filter Media Replacement Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $150,000. The Project has an expected duration of ninety (90) days. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each contractor is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. Any and all steel products used or supplied in the performance of the contract or any subcontracts shall be from steel made in the United States.
