Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pfafftown, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Should less than three bids be received, the project will have to be re-advertised. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. 100% Performance & Payment Bonds will be required. Interested bidders are required to reach out directly to the Owner to obtain a set of the bidding documents. This project includes the site and trail construction for the 164.0 acre Long Creek Park north of historic Bethania, located at 5801 Bethania-Tobaccoville Road. Includes 0.98 acres of disturbance in and around existing cart paths, bridges and new asphalt trails. Replace and add paving for 10' wide asphalt trails, erosion controls, silt fencing, matting, fine grading and seeding. Work also includes repairs to three (3) existing bridges per structural assessment for vegetation removal, steel repairs, new decking and guardrails. Award of this project will be late November 2024. M/WBE subcontracting goals of 11% MBE and 8% WBE apply, which must be met separately. Bidders are encouraged to visit site on their own time (before end of question period especially). The park is open dawn to dusk and located at 5801 Bethania Tobaccoville Rd, Pfafftown, NC 27040.
