Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Cow Island, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project Consists of the Construction of Various Bridge Improvements and Repairs at Andrus Road, Hilton Road, Scanlon Road, Wright Road and Aaron Road Including Improvements to Associated Structure (I.e. Piles, Bents, Headwalls, Wingwalls, Approaches) and Roadway Per Attached Construction Documents. Each Quotation Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond Payable to the Owner, the Amount of Which Shall Be Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount Bid (Including Alternates). If a Bid Bond is Used, It Shall Be Written by a Surety or Insurance Company Currently on the U.s. The Successful Contractor Will Be Required to Execute Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds in the Full Amount of the Contract as More Fully Defined in the Bid Documents. Contractors or Contracting Firms Submitting Bids in the Amount of $50,000.00 or More Shall Certify That They Are Licensed Contractors Under Title 37 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes (La. R.s. 37:2150-2192) for the Classification of Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction and Show Their License Number on the Front of the Sealed Envelope in Which Their Bid is Enclosed. The Owner May Reject Any and All Bids for Just Cause as Allowed by La. R.s. 38:2214. In Accordance With La. R.s. 38:2212(B)(1), the Provisions and Requirements of This Section; and Those Stated in the Bidding Documents Shall Not Be Waived by Any Entity.
