Metro Rta is Seeking Services for Railroad Track Inspection and Warning Device Maintenance A bid guarantee from each bidder equivalent to five (5) percent of the bid price. The "bid guarantees" shall consist of a firm commitment such as a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument accompanying a bid as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of his bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required within the time specified. A performance bond on the part to the Contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. A "performance bond" is one executed in connection with a contract to secure fulfillment of all the contractor's obligations under such contract. A payment bond on the part of the contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. A "payment bond" is one executed in connection with a contract to assure payment, as required by law, of all persons supplying labor and material in the execution of the work provided for in the contract. Withdrawal of Bid A submitted proposal may be withdrawn prior to the deadline for submission by clicking the "unsubmit" button. Once the proposal is unsubmitted/withdrawn, METRO has no response from the bidder. Any resubmission must be resubmitted prior to the submission deadline. If a proposers wishes to withdraw their proposal after the submission deadline, but prior to award of the contract, they should contact METRO's Procurement Officer immediately. Duration of the proposed contract shall be for FIVE (5) years beginning January 01, 2025 through December 31, 2029 Question Submission Deadline: October 7, 2024, 4:00pm. Question Response Date: October 8, 2024. METRO reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, to re-advertise for proposals and to waive any informality in any proposal and to determine the most responsive proposal by its own criteria, as described within the specification.
