Site work and paving for a road / highway in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Working plans call for paving for a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.
A road widening project with trail on the west side of Diebold and a sidewalk on the east side. The project will extend from the existing trail to Clinton Street. Right-of-way acquisition started in March 2021. Several parcels are in condemnation causing delays to the schedule. Utility relocation is underway with AEP moving first, followed by the other utilities. The project is planned to be bid in 2024. As of September 5, 2024, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the final planning phase. Right of way acquisition is in process. It is anticipated bidding will commence as soon as right of way is completed, with construction following.
