Civic Center work consists of replacing the existing track flooring. Bid Security is required in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Within ten (10) days after notification of award of contract, the successful Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner. The Performance Bond shall be in the amount of 100 percent of the accepted bid. The performance bond will become a part of the contract with the exception: for bids not exceeding $50,000, then a Performance Bond shall not be required by the State or Owner. Bids shall include not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate determined by the Missouri Department of Labor with the exception: for bids not exceeding $75,000, a prevailing hourly wage rate shall not be required by the State or Owner. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding, and to award a Contract for any part of the Work or the Project as a whole.
