This Request for Proposal describes the scope of renovation in four of the OR suites at SMH. Project names and numbers are listed below: E763-00: SMH OR4 and OR5 Renewal Location: South Building Level 1 E763-01: SMH OR6 Renovation Location: South Building Level 1 E763-02: SMH OR11 Renovation Location: B Building Level 2 The main objective is to replace aging equipment booms and to upgrade existing infrastructure for the projects identified above. Feasibility studies have been completed by a multidiscipline team. The followings describe the general project scope among the three projects: Disconnect and remove existing ceiling mounted equipment booms Disconnect and remove existing ceiling suspended medical columns Add/replace steel support structure above ceiling for new equipment booms Install vendor supplied mounting plates and medical gas riser for new equipment booms Replace fixed-in-place millwork with stainless countertop, base, and upper cabinets. Construct new bulkheads where required for upper cabinets to meet infection control standard. Replace room lighting and control Add/update electrical distribution infrastructure. Add/update network cables and conduits servicing the suite(s) Upgrade grounding connections to UPS panels Add electrical and network cables and conduits for vendor supplied equipment; Modify existing medical gas infrastructure within the suite to fit new equipment and upgrade medical gas control. Provide wall protection within the suite Repair floor evenness and replace flooring finish with cove base Installed FHA supplied wall mounting brackets for PC monitors and phones Vendor supplied booms and surgical lights will be mounted and terminated by vendor Scrub area renovation Remove and replace scrub sink Replace flooring finish with cove base Replace countertop Add stainless steel corner guards In addition, project specific scope requirements are described in the followings: E763-00: SMH OR4 and 5 Renewal Integration system is NOT included in project scope Replace fixed-in-place millwork in OR rooms with stainless countertop, base, and upper cabinets. Add conduits to accommodate vendor supplied integration system Video signal cables supplied and terminated by vendor. Supply and install stainless steel cabinet within OR6 to house integration system OR6 shares a common scrub sink area with OR7 E763-02: SMH OR11 Renovation Replace built-in cabinetry in sub-sterile area with stainless steel type Add conduits to accommodate vendor supplied integration system Video signal cables supplied and terminated by vendor.
