The work for this project will consist of repair, reclamation and repaving of the sections of the existing paved roadway and other incidental construction of Marsh Creek West Park Road, Milford Road, Chalfont Road Boat Launch, and Park Trail Road as specified in the plan located within Marsh Creek State Park, Wallace & Upper Uwchlan Townships in Chester County. SDB Participation Goal: 8% VBE Participation Goal: 3% Q & A Deadline 09/23/2024 04:30 PM EDT Contractor is to begin work within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, and to complete work within Three Hundred Sixty Five (365) calendar days. The tenth (10th) day after receipt of Notice to Proceed shall be the official starting date unless the ten (10) day period is extended in writing by the Secretary. It is understood that if the work is not completed within the time above specified or such extension thereof, as shall be granted in accordance with the General Conditions, the Contractor shall pay the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as liquidated damages and not as a penalty for non-completion of work, the amount of Five Hundred ($500.00) per day for each and every calendar day thereafter until the work shall be completed and accepted. Bidders for this project shall as of the bid opening date, be listed as Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) prequalified, as a Prime Contractor, in Category F, Binuminous Pavement or F4 Bintuminous Surface Treatments, Seal Coats, Highway Construction, in accordance with the PennDOT's Specifications, Publication 408, Section 102, Subsection 102.01, dated 2020. The successful Bidder may be required to submit a copy of the PennDOT Prequalification Certificate. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
