Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Newell, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project includes construction of a new 1,200 GPM water treatment plant consisting of: improvements to the existing Raw Water Well pump discharge piping; 174,900 gallon Raw Water Buffer Tank; 4,320 SF concrete masonry unit treatment building; pressure filtration treatment system featuring four (4) 10'-0" diameter tanks and two (2) pipe racks; two (2) 1,200 GPM filter feed pumps; two (2) 1,200 GPM high service pumps; 45,150 gallon cast-in-pace concrete, below ground Clearwell; chemical feed equipment; 23,697 gallon backwash water waste tank and pump station; plant piping and valves; office, lab, and bathroom; HVAC; electrical and lighting; emergency generator; SCADA system and instrumentation; site work; excavation and backfill; asphalt paving; perimeter site fence and gates; concrete sidewalks; landscaping; and all other necessary appurtenances for a complete and in-place installation. Question Deadline 09/30/2024 Questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer not less than ten days prior to the bid opening. Any Addenda issued will be no later than FIVE (5) days prior to the bid opening.
