Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Saint Anthony, Idaho. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project is bridge bundle to remove and replace local bridges in Fremont County on N 1600 E over the St. Anthony Canal and N 2700 E over the Crosscut Canal. The existing bridges will be removed with new bridge replacements. The new bridge for the St. Anthony Canal will be a prestressed girder span with flared wingwalls. The new bridge on the Crosscut Canal will be a GRS-IBS foundation with prestressed voided slabs. Additional work includes reconstruction of the roadway approaches, coordination and relocation of selected utilities, and other miscellaneous work. The Crosscut Canal Bridge (KN31850) is located approx. 900 feet north of the N 2700 E and E 350 Rd N intersection. The St. Anthony Canal Bridge (KN32040) is located approx. 1,100 feet from the N 1600 E and N 2000 Rd W Intersection. September 23, 2024 at 5:00 pm MT is the last time technical questions or clarification requests will be accepted.
