Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in Modesto, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project will reroute sanitary sewer flows out of the current River Trunk Pipeline between the Gallo Winery property and the Sutter Avenue Primary Treatment Facility (SAPTF). The existing River Trunk runs adjacent to the Tuolumne River and is at risk of failure during a large storm event. The Project includes a new gravity sewer pipeline from the Gallo Property, under Dry Creek, to the new River Trunk Pump Station located at the intersection of Morton Boulevard and B Street. Sanitary sewer flow will then be pumped in a new dual forcemain, across the flood plain, to the intersection of Tuolumne Boulevard and Neece Drive. The City is currently completing construction of a new gravity pipeline from the intersection of Tuolumne Boulevard and Neece Drive to the Sutter Avenue Treatment Plant. The Project also includes new gravity pipelines to reroute flows from existing local collection pipelines to the new River Trunk Pump Station.
