This work shall include furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to complete the project 2024 Del Prado UTACS Mill & Overlay as described in the specifications and shown in the plans. Work includes adjustment of all utility vaults, water valves, manholes, etc. located in the existing pavement prior to milling and adjustment to grade after the overlay, 1" mill of the existing pavement, crack sealing of the milled surface, 1" UTACS Type 1 overlay. This work shall also include the removal and replacement of existing access ramps and installation of new access ramps, curb and gutter and driveway removal and replacement at locations that will be marked in the field. All access ramps are to meet ADA/PROWAG requirements. Questions Deadline: 9/19/2024 12:00 PM (PT) LATE PROPOSALS: Late proposals will not be considered for any reason. SITE OF WORK: The site of work is located within the city limits of Boulder City, Nevada; more specifically, The Del Prado subdivision, Olmo Way, Patio Drive, and portions of Paloma, Del Prado and Otono Drives. All work including deficiency list items must be completed within ninety (90) calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed by the Owner. The Contractor shall provide a one-year warranty for the scope of work performed in this contract. The one-year warranty shall be from the date of the Notice of Completion. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, payable to the City of Boulder City as a guarantee that the bidder, if his proposal is accepted, will enter into a contract within fifteen (15) calendar days after receipt of the contract from the Owner. Workman's Compensation Insurance, Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, and a Guarantee Bond will be executed as part of the contract agreement. : Within ten (10) calendar days after award of the contract, the Owner will return the guarantees accompanying the proposals that are not considered in making the award. All other proposal guarantees will be held until the contract has been finally executed. They will then be returned to the respective bidders. At the time of bidding, a bidder must hold a valid Nevada license of a class corresponding to the work performed, in accordance with the provisions of the Nevada State Contractor's License Law. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE OF PROBABLE COST: $475,000 - $525,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be completed utilizing the Nevada Government eMarketplace (NGEM) question portal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner.
