Well; o Install (1) 1- Storz connections Fire Hydrant & Hydrant Assemblies; o All related work; Section II - Stoflet Lane - Water Main Replacement: o Clearing and Grubbing, Landscape and Tree Removal; o Remove approx. 400 square yards of existing pavement; o Flowable fill approx. 500 feet of existing water main; o Remove (1) existing Gate Valve and Well; o Remove (2) existing Fire Hydrants; o Construct approx. 150 square yards of 6 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement, MDOT Grade P1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base; o Construct approx. 250 square yards of 1 1/2 " HMA Wearing Course 5EML; o Construct approx. 250 square yards of 2 1/2 " HMA Leveling course 4EML on new 6 inch MDOT Crushed Limestone Base; o Install approx. 75 feet of 8 inch DI CL54 Water main via excavation method; o Install approx. 475 feet of 8 inch Fusible HDPR DR11, via directional drilling method; o Install (2) 8 inch valve in 5 ft dia. Well; o Install (3) 1- Storz connections Fire Hydrants & Hydrant Assemblies; o Reconnect (5) water services, 2 inch k copper; o All related work; Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or money order, executed by the Bidder and Surety firm, licensed to perform business in the State of Michigan, and payable to the Township of Brownstown in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the accompanying bid. Proposal guarantee shall provide assurance the Bidder will, upon acceptance of the bid, execute the necessary Contract with the Township of Brownstown. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate Performance, Labor and Material, and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days following the date set for receipt, during which time all bids shall remain in full force and effect. Proposals submitted after the exact time specified for receipt shall not be considered, and proposals submitted by telephone, facsimile, or e-mail shall not be accepted. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its sole discretion, in whole or in part, for any reason or for no reason at all, to waive any informality/technicality in bids received, and to award the contract to any bidder, when such waiver is deemed to best serve the interest of the OWNER. A contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder as determined by the OWNER.
