Saving Project...

Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Roseville, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

As of November 12, 2024, the bond was approved. The city will move forward with design and engineering work in 2025. Construction would likely begin in the fall of 2025, and the new License & Passport Center is estimated to open by the summer of 2028. Per owner, design team has not been selected yet, an RFP will be released in early January 2025 for these services. On the Nov. 5, 2024, ballot is a half-cent sales tax that would raise $76.9 million over 20 years for the project. The plan is called Invest in Roseville. The idea is to bring a new “civic campus” to the corner of Lexington Avenue and Woodhill Drive, with a maintenance operations center at the northwest corner and a passport center at the southwest corner. The new License & Passport Center would support more efficient passport and licensing operations for thousands of city residents and other Minnesotans. The new License & Passport Center will be located across the street from the new Maintenance Operations Center, at the southwest corner of Lexington Ave and Woodhill Drive.
