Description

Renovation of a swimming pool in Newark, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.

The purple tube water slide in the lazy river pool in is need of replacement due to age and deterioration. The other slide was replaced approximately five years ago. The new replacement tube slide would utilize the same configuration for ease of installation and to minimize cost. The project is included in the City of Newark's FY 2024-2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Per the owner, as of October 2, 2025, there is no plan to replace the slides as they are in good condition.
