The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) is seeking bids to perform asphalt pavement repairs and pavement markings at Westerly State Airport (WST), and Newport State Airport (UUU). Block Island State Airport (BID) and Runway 5-23 at Quonset State Airport (OQU) are included as additive alternates. Questions related to this solicitation may be submitted to procurement@pvdairport.com no later than 2:00 PM local time EDT, September 6, 2024. Westerly State Airport (WST) and Newport State Airport (UUU): 30 Calendar Days from notice to proceed (NTP). NTP is anticipated for September 30, 2024. Must be completed by October 30th. Block Island State Airport (BID): 10 Calendar Days from notice to proceed (anticipated to be issued after WST & UUU) Quonset State Airport (OQU) Runway 5-23: 7 calendar days from notice to proceed (anticipated to be issued after BID) RIAC is tax exempt and a certificate will be supplied as required. Each sealed bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or satisfactory Bid Bond, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Rhode Island Airport Corporation Performance Bond: A good and sufficient Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the Contract, as evidenced by the Bid tabulation or otherwise, guaranteeing the full and faithful execution of the Work and performance of the Contract in accordance with the Contract Documents. This Bond shall guarantee the repair and maintenance of all defects due to faulty materials and workmanship that appear within a period of one (1) year, or as otherwise specified in the Specifications (whichever is greatest), from the date of final completion and written acceptance of the Work by the Owner Labor and Material Payment Bond: A good and sufficient bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the Contract, as evidenced by the Bid tabulation or otherwise, guaranteeing the full and proper protection of all claimants supplying labor and materials in the prosecution of the Work provided for in said Contract and for the use of each such claimant.
