Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Scott City, Kansas. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project is a replacement of an existing structure, there is no engineering plans. The original structure was an open box drain 15 ft wide by 32 inches tall, then was reduced to 8 ft wide by 32 inches and 8inch top for a thru street. This created a box drain 2ft by 7ft by 70 feet long with concrete floor Removal of both existing structures, concrete street 43' x 32'and 150' 3' by 6" stand up curb and gutter. Replace box culvert than is highway weight rated with an opening no less than 2' by 7' replace all concrete minimum 8" in street and all curb and gutter with 50' of curb and cutter being 3' by 6" with a10" top for trucks cutting the corner City of Scott City is accepting bids for the removal and replacement of a box drainage culvert. Additional work includes street repair and curb and gutter replacement. Contact Public Works Superintendent Terence Appel 620-872-9093 with questions.
