INVITATION FOR BIDS The Washington State Department of Transportation Ferries Division, operating as Washington State Ferries (hereinafter called "WSF"), issues this notice of Invitation For Bids (IFB) for the following described project: The Contract work consists of the following repairs to the Issaquah-class ferry M.V. Kittitas: drydock the vessel for U.S. Coast Guard Credit drydocking and internal structural exam: hull gauging: anode renewals; rudder inspections and overhaul: controllable pitch propeller blade inspections; shaft seal element renewals: fresh water wash; underwater hull and curtain plate exterior and bilge coatings; hull and deck steel renewal: general alarm battery enclosure and charger renewal; repair of the keel coolers; firemain, sprinkler, and steam heater piping renewals; and. other miscellaneous work and maintenance, as specified in the IFB Technical Specifications. The vessel is 328'-2" x 78'-8" and carries 124 vehicles and 1,216 passengers. All of the work must be performed within Puget Sound, Washington during the period of November 18, 2024 -January 31, 2025.
