Reference Number 0000362187 Lansing Community College is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to perform an assessment and remediation of the College's radio frequency system campus wide. The project's primary function is to correct the amplification/frequency issues throughout LCC buildings to ensure proper communication.
The scope includes four main phases:
Phase 1 will involve assessing LCC's current radio system(s) and providing a diagnostic report;
o Identify all systems and create an inventory list and roadmap;
o Provide floor plan drawings, indicating the location of system components and interconnectivity.
Phase 2 will involve a recommended plan of action for each system, collaboration and discussion with the A/E firm and LCC, along with providing associated cost estimates
o Identify frequencies and equipment that are working properly and should be maintained;
o Identify frequencies and equipment that are not used and should be removed;
o Identify frequencies and equipment that are not working properly and provide a remedy.
Phase 3 will involve the implementation of the remedy identified in the diagnostic report;
o Time, labor, and materials to fix the system campus wide.
Phase 4 will involve a maintenance and warranty agreement that is 3 to 5 years in length.
o Continuous support and maintenance of fixes and the system as a whole.
The successful Bidder will need to coordinate delivery and installation as outlined in the attached specifications. The Contractor will coordinate all work and activities with Matrix Consulting Engineers and LCC. The project shall include the frequencies and equipment listed below that are known throughout campus, however any additional frequencies and equipment shall be documented and reported to the A/E firm and LCC.
