Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Prattville, Alabama. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project is estimated to cost $400,000.00. The amount shown is only to provide general financial information to contractors and bonding companies concerning the project's complexity and size. This amount should not be used in preparing a bid, nor will it have any bearing on the decision to award the contract. The work of constructing the project will be let under one contract. The principal items of work are approximate as follows: 420 Tons of Bituminous Concrete Paving, 750 SY of 4" Thick Concrete Sidewalk, 1,000 LF of Concrete Curb and Gutter, Various Drainage Improvements. Project has been cancelled. Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid (not to exceed $10,000.00) filed in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Prattville. Bid Bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in Circular 570 of the U.S. Treasury Department. Each bidder must submit with their bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond. Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license.
