Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Crosby, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a water / sewer project; pre-engineered storage facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work in this contract is for the surface water treatment plant (SWTP) for Newport Municipal Utility District (NMUD) located in 16703 Golf Club Drive, Crosby, Texas. general, this work consists of: Constructing a pre-engineered metal building, installation of water, sanitary, and storm lines, installation of new raw water intake screen and intake piping, upgrades to the existing raw water pump station, installation of a filtrate pump station and filtrate piping, and upgrades to the existing high service pump station. Obtain all permits and notifications required for construction, including but not limited to all City of Houston, Harris County, San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA), and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) permits, and submit to the Engineer prior to commencement of any work. Implement, maintain, and remove storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) and trench safety as needed. Site Clearing, Earthwork, and Site Utilities Grade natural ground to maintain positive drainage away from proposed and existing buildings and towards drainage swales and inlets. Install 8-inch sanitary sewer, including manholes and connection to the existing sanitary sewer manhole. Install drainage swales and 24-inch storm sewer, including inlets, manholes, and connection to the existing storm sewer system. Install all new yard 16 and 12 raw water piping/valves, 24 and 16 filtrate piping/valves, water sample taps and piping, chemical piping, concrete injection vaults, and other site utilities. Each bid shall be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers check or certified check in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of total base bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide payment and performance bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
