The Jones County Board of Commissioners is requesting and will accept sealed proposals for the construction of a pavilion, walking path and bathroom/storage building at Liberty Park located at 3683 Upper River Road, Macon, Georgia 31211. Question Deadline 09/30/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Any inquiries, requests for information, technical questions, clarifications, or additional information shall be directed to Jones County Purchasing Agent at Julie.happoldt@jonescountyga.org. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and suicient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the Owner in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payments Bonds with the executed agreement that meet the requirements of the contract documents and executed on the form attached to the agreement. Contractors should be prepared to mobilize within 30 days of a notice to proceed, and they should plan to complete the project within 75 days of commencement. The Jones County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive minor irregularities or to select the bid that is in the best interest of the Jones County Board of Commissioners.
