Site work for a water / sewer project in Cameron, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Question Deadline 10/09/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing, Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Phase III Water System Improvements Project consists of replacing approximately 8,200 LF of troublesome water line along U.S. 250 N, Gable Avenue, and Hillcrest Areas. There will be approximately 7,000 LF of 6" and 1,200 LF of 2" water line, installation of two (2) new 183,000- gallon water storage tanks, demolition of the existing 500,000-gallon water storage tank, and all other necessary appurtenances for a water line replacement project. The Work will be substantially completed within 365 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 395 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to City of Cameron in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in part by grants and loans from: the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection State Revolving Fund. Neither the United States, the State of West Virginia nor any of their departments, agencies or employees are or will be a party to this invitation to bid or any resulting contract. Doc note: Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by paying the amount of each set listed below. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents will be transmitted to the prospective Bidder. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method requested. Bidding Documents are available for purchase in the following formats: o Bidding Documents issued as hard copy full-size drawings and hard copy specifications, are available for $150.00 per set. o Bidding Documents issued as digital drawings and digital specifications, are available for $40.00 per set Amounts paid are not subject to refund. online sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
