A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the Specifications and shown on the Plans of the construction of Spring Garden Park Upgrade in the Township of Riverside, New Jersey, including but not limited to tree removal, site grading, 2" HMA surface course, 6" DGA, gazebo structural repairs. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Susan Dydek, RMC, Township Clerk, 237 South Pavilion Avenue, Riverside, New Jersey 08075, marked on the outside with words: BID: Spring Garden Park Upgrade and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified or Cashier's Check in the amount not less than 10% of the amount bid, but not exceeding $20,000. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders, who, in the judgment of Moorestown Township makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. Any combination of Base Bids or Add Alternates may be awarded. B. The work for this project consists of the following items: BASE BID 1 1. Installation of 2" HMA 19.5M64 Surface Course and 4" DGA. 2. Regrading as necessary for positive drainage. 3. Restoring disturbed vegetated/lawn areas. As a minimum, all lawns shall be restored with topsoil, fertilizer, seed, and mulch. Other materials shall be restored in-kind. 4. Providing all necessary traffic directors and traffic control in accordance with the MUTCD. Moorestown Police Department must be contacted for any closure. ADD ALTERNATE 1 1. Remove existing pavers around gazebo and install 2" HMA 19.5M64 Surface Course and 4" DGA. 2. Restoring disturbed vegetated/lawn areas. As a minimum, all lawns shall be restored with topsoil, fertilizer, seed, and mulch. Other materials shall be restored in-kind. 3. Providing all necessary traffic directors and traffic control in accordance with the MUTCD. Moorestown Police Department must be contacted for any closure. BASE BID 2 1. Remove existing standing seam metal roofing. 2. Remove all appurtenances, electrical conduit, lights, etc. 3. Clean and paint all columns, beams, and purlins down to grade. 4. Reinforce steel structural elements as needed and directed by the Engineer. 5. Replace existing standing seam metal roof after all steel has been cleaned and painted. Reinstall electrical conduit and lights.
