ELM Street Booster Station Improvements. The Project Includes Work at The athens Water Service, Elm Streetbooster Station Located at 580west Elm Street, Athens, Al 35611. Summary of the Work Items is in- Cluded Below: Demolition of Two (2) Existing, 50- Hp Water Booster Pumps, Piping and Valves, Station Electrical Motorcontrollers, Wiring and Electricalservice; and Installation of Two (2)new, 125-hp Booster Pumps, Piping, valves and Electrical Equipment and New Service, a New Backupgas Powered Generator, and Re- Placement of the Existing Venturiflow Meter With a Magnetic Flowmeter. The Work Includes Providing temporary Electrical Service And maintaining Pumping Operations with at Least Two (2) of the Three (3)station Pumps in Operation at All times During Construction.
