The work to be performed under this contract generally consists of installation of an 8" diameter C-900 PVC water main, water services, valves, hydrants and all fittings and appurtenant items of work as described on the plans and specification. The contractor shall sequence his work to install the proposed 8" PVC C-900 main, pressure test, and chlorinate, then after line acceptance, install new waterservice for residents. Other items of work include saw-cutting and restoration of existing pavement; replacement of curbing, sidewalk, driveway aprons and existing conditions in general disturbed in connection with this project as shown on the set of Drawings entitled "Woodland Avenue Water Main Replacement" and in accordance with the specifications provided herein and as detailed in section 1.2 Location and Work to be Done above. The location of this work is in the area of Woodland Avenue in the City of Millville, New Jersey as identified in the Plans and Specifications. This work is funded with a Municipal Bond Ordinance 36-2019; appropriate regulations will govern.
