Renovation of a municipal facility in West Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) requires a Contractor to supply all materials, plant, and labour to provide facility repairs, including float removal and replacement, wharf repairs, and riprap shoreline repairs. This is the Phase 2 solicitation following an Invitation to Qualify. Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid. The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) requires a Contractor to supply all materials, plant, and labour to provide facility repairs, including float removal and replacement, wharf repairs, and riprap shoreline repairs. The work is located at the Pacific Science Enterprise Centre, 4160 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, BC. The work involves but not limited to the following: Removal and installation of gangway. Installation of aluminum gangway Removal and disposal of the existing float and mooring piles Supply and installation of concrete float and steel piles mooring system. The following are the two optional work which DFO reserves the right to exercise 3 months after contract award. 1. Repair Concrete wharf structure. 2. Repair existing slope protection (Rip Rap) as specified.
