Mesquite Independent School District (MISD) is accepting sealed proposals for Cafeteria & Kitchen Cameras. This proposal will provide pricing for the requested items and services to the Food and Nutrition Services Department. This agreement may be awarded to multiple vendors. Mesquite ISD is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to perform the installation of CAT 6e cables for surveillance cameras in 53 schools within our district. The cable runs will be from the cafeteria to the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) or Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) in each school using existing cable pathways. Question Cut Off Date 9/13/2024 10:00:00 AM (CT) The District intends to award contracts to multiple vendors. The term of this contract shall be October 15th, 2024 (or date of award) through June 30, 2025, with the option to renew annually through June 30, 2029. A . System shall include IP cameras B. Category 6A cabling to each camera shall be provided by owner to each camera. Patch cords for the IP cameras to the network switches shall be provided and installed. Patch cords from the IP Camera to the data jack shall be provided and installed. C. System installation shall include, but not be limited to, installation, programming, and configuration of system components as well as all associated software upgrades, patches, and maintenance for the first year. D. Contractor is responsible for meeting with Owner's representative at time of camera installation to verify exact placement and view of each camera to ensure coverage area is as intended. The selected contractor will be responsible for: Installation of CAT 6A cables for surveillance cameras in 53 schools. Running cables from the cafeteria to the MDF/IDF using existing cable runs. Ensuring all work is compliant with industry standards, including TIA/EIA and IEEE standards. Properly labeling and testing all installed cables. Providing as-built documentation for each installation. Coordination with school Technical Services Department to minimize disruptions during installation.
