Parkway School District (District) is seeking quotes from qualified suppliers to provide all labor, material, tools and other equipment to degrease the entire Kitchen Range Hoods, Fans and other associated ductwork at the following locations twice per year (December/January and June/July) for a one (1) year period. All questions must be submitted by the Bid's Question Due Date. Every attempt shall be made to ensure that the bidder receives a prompt response if such questions are received in a timely manner. Any questions submitted outside the Bonfire platform shall not be answered. It is the district's policy to award a bid based on the lowest or best bid. However, the District retains the right to award in whatever manner serves the best interests of the district. The successful bidder must observe all federal, state and local laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations, including the provisions of the State Workmen's Compensation Law and save the District harmless from any and all liability by observance of same. Degrease and clean all areas of the Kitchen Range Exhaust Hoods, Fans and other associated ductwork by utilizing high-pressure steam cleaning system and scraping without leaving a film residue. All cleansers must be USDA approved. All areas must be left in workman like manner and all cleaning solutions must be removed from the premises. Horizontal ductwork may be scraped and degreased by mechanical means due to possible leakage. Contractor shall give all used parts to designated Parkway School District staff at time of service, or payment will not be made by district. This proof of insurance shall be submitted no later than ten (10) days after receipt of notice of intent to award the contract. If the vendor fails to maintain and keep the insurance coverage in force, as herein provided, the district shall have the right to cancel and terminate the established contract forthwith and without notice. The vendor shall bear full responsibility for all risk of loss from equipment damage, and money or product loss resulting from vandalism or theft. The vendor shall not in any manner penalize the district for any such losses.
